Wiesbaden

Arriving at Wiesbaden train station on Sunday 9/22, we were picked up by Eyjo, who then drove us back to his house. After a late lunch/early dinner, with Eyjo and Adrianna, we headed out to the winery at which Natalia worked for a couple of drinks. Before getting to the winery, we stopped to have a walk around Eberbach Abbey. The Abbey was quiet and pretty, but after a short walk around the grounds we headed back to the car. At the winery we each had around two glasses before heading home.

The next morning Natalia took the two of us into Frankfurt. We walked around the old city, through the mall, and did some shopping. Lack of stock prevented Henry from picking up an Eintracht Frankfurt jersey to add to his obscure soccer jersey for his collection, but a good time was had by all nonetheless. After a quick coffee, we headed back to Wiesbaden.

On day three, we explored the city center of Wiesbaden. The city is the capital of the German state Hesse and holds both the local and state governments. We walked through the old town and the shopping district before stopping for lunch; the long-awaited Döner Kebap. After a spectacular lunch, we walked around a little more before going back to the house, where we ate dinner and got ready to go back into the city for a few drinks with Natalia and her friend.

Day four started early and saw us drive to the airport, say goodbye to the Simonarsons and catch the train to Berlin.
