We arrived in Venice after being up for a full 24 hours awake in Zurich airport, so we slept for the first day we were in Venice. On the second day, we took the bus to the island and explored. The city was really pretty, but it was October so not a lot was open. We stopped for a drink in the city before heading back and getting pizza for dinner. The next few days in Venice were spent mainly doing similar things, before we moved on to Florence.
